Well here we are again. Jason once more thinking he can actually have a sustaining blog. But who knows, maybe he will. Seems in this entry he'll be talking in 3rd person, not such a bad thing as he is intending to be a writer and writing in various forms may help achieve this. Hence the blog.
Anyway onto the meat...
So I'm actually sat here in work and as there is nothing to be done *knock wood* (*giggle*) I decided to stretch my writing muscles and so here we are. Some may say why not write short stories and although this idea seems valid I'm host to an incredibly short attention span and I can only do so much for so long. Saying that I am the person who was able to play 34 hours of Final Fantasy XII in one weekend.
So back to work and we'll talk about that. For all those who don't know I am what is called a Remote Support Engineer Line 2, meaning that I give technical support to computer over the power of the internet (Audience goes 'ooo'). The line 2 bit means I'm a bit more senior and a bit more intelligent that the average person here and they thought it wise to promote me. More fool them.
The work itself is fine, something broke gets fixed. Or you would believe. My technical skills (12 + 3 for intelligence) aren't the best, and as I type this I feel the onset or carpal tunnel Syndrome and have stolen my shift manager's keyboard rest, and so I struggle using garnered knowledge and bluff (24 + 1 for charisma) to get through most situations. Luckily no one from work will be likely to read this so I can continue to use this skills in the way that results.
I'm told by my wife to fine new work but in this glorious economy such things are not possible. Plus I like the people I work with for the most part. But enough about work as I'm sure if I keep this up I will be writing more about it.
I won't say much more as I'll leave those for other blogs and work is coming in...
Peace out!
